Donut Falls is one of the easier trails in the Wasatch range up Big Cottonwood Canyon. To get there head up Big Cottonwood canyon 9.3 miles and turn right up a small access road and follow the signs through a cabin area for 3/4 of a mile to the trailhead.
The Falls is only 3/4 of a mile from the trailhead. You can either head up the road past the gate, or follow the footpath up Cardiff fork to the Falls.
This is a very popular trail for families and groups because it only gains 280' of elevation. The falls can be a little dangerous if the water is running high.
During the winter, the access road is closed, so park at the parking lot by the main highway. The area off the side of the highway is very popular with sledders.
